Is Phoenix, Az A Good Place To Move To For Nightlife/singles ?
I am 25 and unattached, and just wondering what others of the same age feel about the general area.

I think that it is what you make it to be honest. I moved there when I was 23 and single and wound up marrying someone that I met there. So it worked well for me, but if you do not get yourself out there and doing things, you will not meet others no matter where you live. There are a lot of people constantly moving into that area, so I would say you would have good chances of setting up a fun/good life

I’m wondering the same thing. I’m possibly being relocated there with this new Job that i got as a Flight attendant. If you’re serious about this move, than i might be needing a Roomie! good luck with finding all this out about the place because i’m rather curious as well!! Ps: I’m a Great CooK, so that makes it a plud for a roomie! ;o) haha

surprise is really close to sun city (where all the old people live) need i say more? it’s actually better suited for young families
scottsdale and tempe are your 2 best cities for the single life. Tempe is home to ASU (arizona state university). lots of singles and a ton of nightclubs. checkout downtown mill ave located in the heart of tempe. cool places there are Fat Tuesdays, The library, and the big bang piano bar among others.
scottsdale is a little more upscale but TONS of clubs and sweet spots to hang out. Old town scottsdale is where it’s at-there are way too many clubs to mention.
depending on what you do for income-there are alot of jobs to be found here as well. we hardly get rain, NO snow, coldest it gets is around 50 in the winter. summers are a b*tch but once you get used to the heat-you’re good to go.
i’m 27 (mommy of 3 now) but still find plenty of time to hang out with my friends and have a good time. you’ll like it here!!
good luck to you

Hope you like being poor, jobs are really hard to find and affordable housing is really ghetto. I would not recommend Phoenix to anyone who does not work in the medical field (lots of hospitals there)
