Why Do People Make Such A Big Deal Over What The Race Of The Person Someone Is Dating?
Like if you’re with a black guy everyone is like she is dating a black guy and only likes black guys or whatever. Why do people even care what race a person is. Shouldn’t they be taking notice of more important things first.

Well sorry to say this but some people are that shallow! Fair enough a few of the problems are religion related and i can sort of see why its a big deal if your religious and it goes against that – but personally if your in love, what difference does it make? Some people refuse to date certain people because of their race, i think that’s just plain judgemental because they don’t even take their time to get to know that person. I know that i don’t want to be judged because im white, therefore why would i judge someone because their black? At the end of the day were all people with feelings and we should respect that more than we do.

From my observation its only White men that are mad. White women WANT to date Black men. Black women are content for the most part with our Black men because regardless of the comments on here from non-Black girls with low self esteem, Black love is here, its strong, and its not going anywhere. I really don’t even encounter White men saying anything except on here. My boyfriend is Latino, and I’ve never really encountered them hating on me.

Sometimes people make a big deal out of it because they don’t agree even though it’s none of their business. They make a big deal out of it because it may not be the norm where they’re from…

It’s all people just wanting to be judgmental. I’m dating a younger guy and automatically that’s frowned upon, yet no one can ever tell me why. Do what makes you happy and ignore the mean comments others have to say. I know it’s hard, but this is your life…not theirs.
As long as this guy treats you amazingly like you deserve…that’s all that matters.

I’m biracial and I only would date black men, I would NEVER let my children go through what I’ve gone through in life. They’ll be 3/4 black end of story.
