Do You Think Dating Is Really Nessicary?
I’ve been thinking about this the last couple days, and it kind of makes sense to me, didn’t know if it would to anyone else.
If you’re attracted to a best friend and you obviously get along very well and know alot (everything) about each other, do you think you really need to date this person? I don’t really understand the purpose of dating anyway, really, but in this scenario, do you think it’s really needed?

Honestly, dating around is smart.
You’ll be surprised what you like and don’t like about the opposite sex which is why it’s best to date around and find out what you want.

That depends on your definition of dating.
I was best friends with this one guy for several years before we finally made things official and began dating….as in, we considered ourselves bf/gf, and things got more intimate, we were committed to each other, When we stopped dating, the intimacy stopped, and we were allowed to date other people. But we didn’t need to do the dating thing where you go spend time together to get to know each other better…that was unnecessary, we already knew each other just fine.

If you are attracted to this person and are willing to risk your friendship for a relationship go for it but if you aren’t certain that this person likes or loves you back don’t do it because if you try you might end up losing your best friend like I did earlier this year. I would take it back in a heartbeat if i could.

No it isn’t NEEDED. But it is good when people are trying to get to know each other. My boyfriend and I never actually went on dates to get to know each other, we did most of it through e-mail, texting, and hanging out with each other with other friends.

Hmm It Depends, If you ever really Wanted to , But then again i wouldnt, because it can ruin ur relationship you have already. You probably would start to feel akward with each other. So i dont see the point in it, when you guys are already close to each other
