   I was feeling bit sucky but i got a card from one of my friends (we’re both straight girls, so it was just platonic.. so sweet tho, cos she has a bf, but knows its a bit lonely being single on v-day). so that put me in a good mood and i dressed up, did my make-up, wore heels, went out and strutted my stuff! went shopping, had a drink at a bar by myself, hung out with my sis and her kids – stuff that makes me feel good. no point wallowing in it! just enjoy life single or otherwise.
   Also, I try to think about the worse situations i could be in – like if i was with a guy i only had luke-warm feelings for and had to pretend, or if i was with a guy i really liked but who didn’t appreciate me or forgot to celebrate our relationship today. itcould be worse, at least if you’re single you don’t have any expectations so you won’t be disappointed.

   I’m just really going to pretend like it isn’t even V-Day!
   I always thought this say was ridiculous even when i am in a relationship.. but oh well.
   Just don’t focus on valenties day just think of it as Thursday lol
