What Is The Best Trap Gun For Singles, Doubles And Handicap For A Boy Just Starting Out?
I would look at a Beretta 391. Fit is very important, and I would recommend visiting a trap range and getting someone to help.
The Beretta is a gun he can grow into, has very little recoil, and would handle all of the situations on the trap field!

The best thing you can do is to find a gun that fits him and has minimum recoil. If you can find a shotgun that is comfortable for him to hold and not so heavy that he gets sick of holding it, then you are better off. There are many youth guns made by a number of different manufacturers, you need to take him with you to a gun shop and let him try a few out, which everyone fits him the best and he is happy with is the best gun for him. There really isn’t that “one gun” that is best for all rookies.

Any semi auto as the recoil is much less than a traditional over and under trap gun.
